	This aircraft represents a Republic P-47D-25-RE, Serial No.44-226873 of the 1st Escadrille, GC 1/4 Navarre. based at Ambérieux in September 1944. This Aircraft was probably the mount of the Lt. 	This aircraft represents a Republic P-47D-30 RA (unknown serial) flown by Cdt. Pierre Gouachon-Noireault, leader of the 2eme escadrille of the GC II/5 from the 29 of January 1944. Gouachon-Noireault was one of the first french pilots to fly with Thunderbolts. He went for training to Italy with the 74th FG from the 21st of March to the 6th of April with the firsts French jugs.
