Any member
of SEAWC can propose a modification to, or new idea for, an objective, ideal,
or procedure, which would be of benifit to the EAW community.
1) To do so, the member should formally write a
description of what they are proposing and mail it to 'Sandbagger', who will
post it here as a 'Points of View'. 2) Any
proposal discussion over an issue raised will be given a time period of two
weeks, at the end of which members can vote. 3)
Each member will asked to vote via a message posted at the SIMHQ forum for EAW.
Voting will be by selecting either YES or NO on the relevant Vote Box under
each proposal submitted. 4) Abstaining from a
vote is allowed. 5) All votes must achieve a
minimum of 3/4 (60) of the SEAWC membership to be valid. If this does not
happen, then the proposal is null and void. This will prevent a small number of
SEAWC members carrying a vote when most members are not represented. An example
would be a 5 to 2 vote from 7 members and the remainder of the membership
abstains / no-votes. Hardly an overall vote. 6)
A simple 2/3 majority of the required quorum will cause the approval and
adoption of a proposal. |
