TROY THIEL
HIMSELF ABOUT HIMSELF HIMSELF AND EAW
Troy was an English teacher from Texas and lived in Poland for two years, working towards completing his Master's degree in Education. Once back home in the States he sought fame, fortune and a good computer for his EAW projects !!! Apart from interests in all things military, he worked with John 'Col. Gibbon' Graham in creating many fine aircraft and add-ons for EAW. Troy's EAW aka was 'Texpole'.
He was involved, with Col. Gibbon, in the original web site Wings Over ByTom at the Tally-Ho Site. Troy worked closely with Col. Gibbon in the creation of aircraft for EAW. Particularly the P-39 Airacobra and flight files.

VITALY A. PERLIN
HIMSELF ABOUT HIMSELF HIMSELF AND EAW
Vitaly was born in Leningrad, USSR in 1969. After leaving school he studied at College and graduated first, as an engineer in quantum electronics and a second time as a software developer. He then worked for software development companies, including Daimler Benz Aerospace, where he was involved in the manufacture of an onboard GPS receiver to facilitate automated passenger aircraft landings. At that time he was taking flying lessons in a two-seater light aircraft near Saint Petersburg. Vitaly's initial plan was to graduate from these courses in 3 years and obtain a small aircraft pilot license. But after graduating the first year he moved to the USA where he now lives with his wife, 5 year daughter and 9 year stepson.
Vitaly's main hobbies are mostly aircraft-related, including aircraft history and modelling and hopes to continue flying lessons some day. He also enjoys photography, especially - wildlife and nature. He blames his wife for the acquaintance with EAW. It was 1999 and they were in a local CompUSA store when she picked the very last box with the game from the store counter with the question: "Darling, could it be the game you might be interested in?". He recalls that his responce was: "perhaps, although the graphics don't impress me, judging from the box advertizement." Anyway, they bought it, and as it turned out, it was 'THE' game, compared only to AOE. He says there's something magical in EAW as you can leave it for some time, but you'll be back for sure, and want to play it again and again, and work on its improvement. Or could it be because of the great EAW community? Perhaps. But this game and everything around it never stops to amaze him!
Vitaly's EAW aka is 'Mailpin'.
Vitaly has been following EAW for some time and is involved in various modifications for the EAW community. He has his files available for downloading at his pages on the Tally-Ho Site web site.

WALLACE WOOD
HIMSELF ABOUT HIMSELF HIMSELF AND EAW
Wallace Wood (no relation to the famed Mad Magazine cartoonist that he know of). Wallace attended the San Jose State University as a journalism graduate. He then went on to work for the San Jose Mercury/News as a reporter/stringer, then briefly for the Sunnyvale Standard/Mt.View Register-Leader (now defunct) before spending 16 years at the Santa Cruz Sentinel, a small California daily. Wallace is now a 'retired' newsman and lives in Santa Cruz on the coast, once described as a "seedy little resort town" by the L.A. Times when the university opened there in 1965. Last year the town briefly topped the "Most Expensive Places to Live in the U.S." Wallace rents what he terms as a quarter-million dollar hovel. He's loved aircraft since he was a child. Recently, at Hammer Field in Fresno, he was almost killed riding his bicycle when he was hit by a car while watching aircraft and not watching the road. EAW is a much safer option. Wallace's EAW aka is 'Wudpecker'.
He is a member of the European Air War WWII flight sim community and is active at the EAW forums, as he puts it, with those 'wonderful folk from around the world'.
