CLICK TO DOWNLOAD This model depicts a Curtiss Hawk H75 A-1 of the GCI/4, 1ere Escadrille, April 1940, flwon by Sgt Georges Lemare (13 air kills). Georges Lemare started the war as a Sergeant with the GC I/4 (2nd Escadrille), flying the Curtiss H75. He shot down his first ennemy aircraft (a Do-17) in January 1940 and scored another air kill (a Ju-88) in May. After the armistice, his unit was sent to Senegal where Lemare, now flying for the Vichy air forces, shot down a Swordfish in September 1940. He stayed in Africa until March 1944, when he joined Normandie-Niemen and was sent to the Russian Front. There, between October 1944 and May 1945, he added more victories (fighters only) and finished the war with 13 air kills. Lieutnant Georges Lemare survived to the war and came back to France with his Yak-3.

This modified skin was created by FreddyB, based on the 3DZ model of Captain Kurt and the original skin of Woolfman. The cockpit and shadow files were by Claudio Wilches, the non-mirroring by Rob der Fuch. Other additions were from Geo, Woolfman and Capitan Manduca.

Included in this download is an additional aircraft of a Curtiss Hawk H75 A-2 of GCII/5, 1ere Escadrille ("La Fayette"), May 1940 - France.

CLICK TO DOWNLOAD This model depicts a Kittyhawk Mk.III of No.450 RAAF Squadron (239 Wing). This unit first used Hurricanes in the middle east, fighting the Vichy French Air Forces over Syria and Lebanon from June to December 1941. The Squadron then received Kittyhawks and was sent to Egypt to face the German offensive. The unit, known as "the Desert Harassers" specialized in strafing and bombing missions in the skies of Tobruk, El-Alamein, Tripoli, Kairouan, and claimed 39 confirmed air kills (+ 19 probable) for the heavy losses of 70 Kittyhawks. After the landing in Sicily, the Squadron flew its first missions over Europe (Messine, Salerne, Yougoslavia, Monte Cassino, etc) and fought in Italy until the end of the war, receiving a few few Mustang III in the last months. The Italian campaign cost about 50 Kittyhawks through accidents, or shot down by Flak.

CLICK TO DOWNLOAD This model depicts a Curtiss P40 Warhawk of GC II-5 La Fayette, Tunisia, 1943. The GC II-5 La Fayette served in the Tunisian Campaign. Later it fought in the skies of Italy, France and Germany. It was then re-equiped with Republic P-47D.
