In the course of the second world war although many Americans did expect Japanese landings on the west coast, and at the very least, Japanese bombing of the west coast cities, there never was a "Battle of America" as there was a decisive Battle of Britain in the European Theatre. That Battle of Britain meant that Germany would not win a quick war, or obtain a quick and cheap peace. The war would go on, and Germany would loose it. The only reason that there was never be a Battle of America is that there was a Battle of Midway. As you work through the missions in this addon remember those men - the other "few". The American victory at Midway meant that Japan would not win a quick war, or obtain a quick and cheap peace. The war would go on, and now Japan could only loose it.

PLEASE NOTE: 1. Some of the downloads are split into smaller zips and are recombined into the original file by using a 'Join.bat' file. Some Anti-Virus software detects these 'Join.bat' files as being suspect. However, this seems to be an anomally in some AV software only. All files on this Site have been scanned using the latest Norton AV 2002 software before uploading and were declared virus free. 2. Most of the setup archives below are zip files split into numbered parts each about 700+KB in size. This has been done to ease the task of downloading. For these files it is necessary to download all the parts for each zip and recombine them with the batch file provided. Note that the zip file numbers may not be the same as the file number it contains. This is because the first file (No.1) is always the first split file (file.000). Detailed instructions are given in the installation readme. Some zips are small enough not to require splitting and recombining.
