Hi all,

these are 60 new heightmaps adapted for the Euro terrains and were mostly adapted from elevation data found on the internet. The terrains range from almost flat to extremely rough and anything in between. Each type comes in several versions.
1 the unedited elevations and the roughest as such
2 unedited elevations mixed with the stock elevations thus adding the terrain features while retaining Europes basic appearance
3 equalised terrain using 2, where after an autocontrast, which sets the terrain to extremes, the entire terrain was lowered with the lowest point at sea level. This effectively accentuates the terrain features whith at the same time more open and lower terrain. A slight blurr was applied to smoothen out extreme walls and peaks.
4 mix with EAW's stock file which give a much reduced effect of extremities
For all terrains cities and airfields were not set to groundlevel as it showed that when in a rough terrain these would be in holes so deep that it is virtually impossible to get out of em.
This will lead to equal strange airfields where a lot of imagination is needed to get airborne, which turned out to be a sport on its own especially when parked the wrong way.
Example maps have been added to the download as an OAW JPG for easy reference of the terrain type with a short terraindescription and a roughness number in the folder name. I expect that the lower roughness terrains will be used more then the more extreme ones. The most extreme terrains are not really suitable for missions or campaigns allthough it works most of the time as long as groundstart, no timeskip or instant action is used (obligatory), this can make you materialise within a mountain and will lead to the end of a mission.
Colors
purple to blue lowest (from 0 feet)
blue to indigo low
indigo to green medium
green to yellow high
yellow to red highest ( to 23.000 feet)

The Files are in OAW ready folders (v135) and only need to be extracted into your OAW folder. Not knowing how many folders a single tab can hold (I thought 32) you may have to split the package up in two sets and create separate OAW folders for each set. An alternative is renaming half of the L folders to G folders so you can use two tabs to select them and keep em in a single OAW folder.
Those not using OAW can select a single folder and extract/copy it's contents (not the folder!) into your EAW folder.
I have left space at the beginning of the foldernumbers so you can include Von Oben's and Dom's Hilly files.
