Hi,

This is an attempt tp provide a base pcx to allow for quicker skinning of 1940 RLM 65-71-02 "mottled" Bf 109 Emils using Mr. Johnson/Claudio Wilches Hi-Res Emil 3DZ.

Here are the files that I've modified from the original Mr. Johnson release/Claudio's new nose-shape update.

These are:
3DZ FILES
P109EA.3DZ -- fixed some Normals for left wing
P109EB.3DZ -- fixed some Normals for right wing

P109EH.3DZ -- Shadow file mapped to P109ETES.PCX
P109EL.3DZ -- Torn-off left wing mapped to P109ETES.PCX
P109EM.3DZ -- New mid-distance view mapped to P109ETES.PCX

S_POINT_P109EP.3DZ -- remapping of Claudio's pointed spinner tip to P109ETEX.PCX

PCX FILES
E3_P109ETEX.PCX -- New file with textrues fo Hi-Res "round framed" E-3 canopy and a variety of textures to allow for different coloured spinners
E3_P109ETRA.PCX -- Corresponding transparency file for *TEX.PCX above
E4_P109ETEX.PCX -- New file with textrues fo Hi-Res "square framed" E-4 canopy and a variety of textures to allow for different coloured spinners
E4_P109ETRA.PCX -- Corresponding transparency file for *TEX.PCX above
P109ETES.PCX -- Texture file for mid- and long-distance views, plus torn-off wings
P109EU.PCX -- Texture file for virtual wing view matching the RLM 65-71-02 scheme of the skin
P109EA to G -- Blank Texture files for the aircraft skin, including various nose-and-tail combinations. Just add your own codes and unit markings (included) to create a variety of mottled RLM 65-71-02 camouflaged E-1, E-3 and E-4 Emils.

To install, simply convert your selected/modified files to TPC files using PicPac and then drop the files into the folder containing the EAW EXE (renaming any alternate spinner 3DZs -- sharp_ blunt_ P109EP -- first).

Thats it!
