Typhoon IB, serial R7752, of No.609 Squadron RAF, early 1943 - flown by Squadron Leader R.P. 'Bee' Beamont. The Squadron Leader's pennant and the squadron's white rose and hunting-horns badge were displayed beneath the windscreen. Beamont further personalized the plane with his 'scoreboard' and yellow cannon fares and spinner. Early '43 black and white ID-stripes and the 609's unique white chin flash were also attached, making this plane one of the rare more colourful ones in the RAF.

Limitations:

Beamont's S/L pennant, the squadron's white rose and his 'scoreboard' were probably only attached on the right side of the fuselage (KrazyKanuk's scheme confirms this), however I have no picture or photo of the left side of the plane - it's very likely there weren't all the added paints, but a) I have no confirmation of this, and b) the fuselage isn't mirrored in this area, so there is no chance to just apply it on one side of the fuselage...

.) Added Winger69's NM-SuperTiffie files, which combine his non-mirroring with JWC's rounded leading wing edge and JWC's non-distortion wing (no warping anymore).

.) Added JWC's WideView armour plate for better visibility to the rear of the cockpit.

.) Added Dan Shaw's clearglass for the gunsight.

.) Added Migge's new Typhoon cockpit instruments.
