This represents the P51D Mustang, "Big Beautiful Doll", of Colonel John Landers, O.C. 78th FG, during May 1945. Col. Landers was one of a handful of pilots who scored victories in both the Pacific and European theaters. "Big Beautiful Doll" was the sobriquet applied to a series of P51 Mustangs, flown by Col. Landers. He is credited with the destruction of 14.5 aircraft in air to air combat, with a further 20 aircraft destroyed on the ground.

This version of the 'Doll' is the best known, and most widely recognised of the P51's given the name, and is the second of 4 different paint jobs recieved by this aircraft.
