
Unmarked Ki-84-Ko of the Army Flight Test Center, flown by MSgt Isamu Sasaki (38 kills), Fusse Airfield, Tokyo, 1945.
Sasaki claimed three Superfortress on night of 25 May 1945 while flying this aircraft. A veteran of various campaigns during the Pacific War, his total score had resched at least 38 by war's end. Within this total were no less than six B-29 (he damaged a further three), the destruction of which earned him the Bukosho.
