RusGunPack, Beta 1.
Here's an attempt to fix gun data (locations, ammo count, muzzle velocities
and gun type for some skins which represent WWII Soviet Aircraft).
For more information please refer to MS Excel Table, named EAWGuns.xls which you
should find under Gun Data subdirectory after extraction of this package.
Skin files for Soviet aircraft which are modelled are also included in this
package as a set of .zip files under Skins directory. I did not change the
content of skin .zip files since I do not want to violate an integrity of these
skins as conceived by author(s).
Here's a list of flyable aircraft, which gun data is altered:

P-47C Su-2	(4 Shkas front x 425, 1 Shkas rear cabin x 300)
P-47D IL-2	(2 Vya-23 x 300, 2 Shkas x 1500, 1 UBT x 150)
P-51B Yak-1B	(Shwak x 120, 1UBS x 210)
Hurricane	MiG-3	(1 BS x 300, 2 Shkas x 750 )
Spit-1 LaGG-3 4th series (1 Shwak x 80, 2 Shkas x 325, 1BS x 220)
Spit-9 Yak-9T	(1 30mm x 30, 1BS x 200)
Spit-14 Yak-3 (1 20mm x 120, 2BS x 300)
Typhoon La-5FN	(2xShwak guns 20mm x 170)
Tempest La-7	(3xB20 guns 20mm x 150)
Mosquito	Pe-2	(1UBT nose x 200, 1UBT ventral rear x 100)
B-26B Tu-2	(2x20mm x300, 2 UBT x 440, 2 UBT x 300)

Besides that various changes were made on aircraft data.
This is a list of changes which I still able to recall:
1. P-47C and P47D are now bombers (Su2 and IL-2 and can be escorted)
2. Bf-109G gun data is changed to represent Bf-109G-2 model (anyway, G6 was
incorrectly modelled in the game since it should haveMK-108 installed. For
ammunition load please refer to EAWGuns.xls table.
3. Bf-109K now represents K2/K4 model.

Besides that, an attempt was made to represent MiG-3 and LaGG-3 flying
performance more correctly than appropriate Hurricane and Spitfire models
do. Note that both aircraft had problems with staying in a tight turn for
long. MiG-3 besides was highly unforgiveable aircraft in terms of pilot
skill. All in all, if you're flying MiG-3, try to keep your speed high
and avoid severe maneouvres near critical AOA. LaGG was really LaGGing
aircraft, so an attempt was made to depict that. If you're flying that
crate, always remember that Soviet pilots named LaGG "Varnished Guaranteed
Coffin" according to it's performance. To live for the next day in this plane,
you should coordinate your flight with your wingman. Otherwice your chances
are really small since you would not even have the luxuxry to escape the
combat at will.
To use this package:
1. Extract everything to some temporary directory
2. Extract each skin from it's .zip file in Skins directory to your EAW directory
3. Copy appropriate .flt file from temp directory to EAW directory
4. Copy planes.dat from temp directory to EAW directory
5. Run the game

I'm fully open for comments and suggestions on this package, but please not that
by installing this package you agree that I will not bear any responsibility
for any kind of damage which may occur by use or misuse of this package.
I would like to thank every person in EAW community for their work and
dedication on various EAW tools, skins add-ons and documentation.
Without them I doubt this package would ever exist.
Please note that this is still a beta package, so it may contain a lot of
inconsistencies and probably wrong data. Again, I will greatly appreciate
your input on that crap I did ;-).
For your concenience this package also contains a set of JPEG files which
depict new gun locations for altered aircraft.

My Best Regards to everyone,
Vitaly A. Perlin, 03.02.02.
