This utility creates menu files for hangar screens using a BMP JPG or GIF version of the hangar screen picture.
The names of these files are "hangaruk.mnu", "hangarus.mnu" and "hangargr.mnu"
Unzipping the file should create a HangMenu folder with the hangarmenu.exe, the USHangar.jpg and this file in it.
It is used in a similar way to the picplane.exe program. However, it is simpler. You only need to select the country (USA, Britain or Axis), the format of your hangar screen file (BMP, JPG or GIF) then click on the name of the file you intend to use, such as the USAHangar.jpg (supplied).
Note: Do not use a pcx or a pic file or the program will crash!

If you want to change the text then edit the words in the text boxes.
Then click on the label that says "Back" to the left of the textbox (not the textbox itself).
The picture screen will then appear. Left click on the top left of the rectangle for your "Back" area, drag the mouse to the bottom right and release the mouse button.
Right click the mouse. this takes you back to the first screen. Now click on the caption for "Arming Board" and select the area for that, and so on until you have done them all.

Note that the "View Plane" part of the menu is needed, but due to a bug it is never displayed as a hangar menu item.
Make any last minute editing of the words, then click the "Make hangar .mnu file" button.
Thats all!
It will be saved in the "HangMenu" folder, or the folder from which you are running the software. Copy it and paste it into your EAW directory.
Then run EAW and see how well you did!
