Squadron Leader R. 'Bobby' Gibbes in mid 1942.
Squadron Leader (later Wing Commander) Gibbes became an 'ace' in the 
desert war shooting down at least 10 enemy aircraft. 
The personal emblem depicting a kangaroo kicking a dachshund was
applied with minor variations, to all the P-40's Gibbes flew in the Western Desert.
