This is the LF MkIX spitfire using Col.Gibbons additional 'clipped' wingtips.

I have to say, I am rather stunned that there is so little information available on the web regarding this man and his machine. I don't know how many sites that I went to looking for information that turned into dead ends, one even reset my damn HOMEPAGE!!!!!! And I couldn't even get any information from the buggers as it was all in Cyrillic!! (Booh! to that site)

So, in the wash up, You'll just have to 'Go with me' on this one, I found photographs of someones Hasegawa model for this one. Still it should certainly Do the job' on the Eastern front!
