ADDENDUM FOR MOGGY'S DUNKIRK
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

No.19 Squadron 11 Group RAF Fighter Command
May-June 1940

I have ammended Col Gibbon's original hi-res Spitfire only to the extent
of enabling it to display the distinctive RAF 1939-40 black and white
fighter camouflage scheme. This involved adding a further 3dz file

Psp2aB.3dz - lower fuselage elements carrying black camoflage

Psp2aBBX.pcx/tpc - texture file for B.3dz

The skin is by DeanH. A dean amongst our skinmakers!

No.19 Sqn. reformed at Duxford in April 1923, and in August 1938 was
the first fighter unit to be equipped with the Spitfire. It remained
at Duxford on defensive duties for the early months of the war, but
on 25th May 1940 was called south to Hornchurch to cover Dynamo.
Led on their first mission on 26th May by CO SqnLdr GD Stephenson,
12 aircraft engaged 21 Ju87s escorted by 30 Bf 109s of JG2. 19 lost
two pilots, including their CO, but claimed five Stukas and three
109s with another six probables. Later that same day acting CO FltLt
Sandy Lane led ten aircraft into a further dogfight with the 109s of
JG1, losing their third pilot of the day. By the end of the battle
19 Sqn. had lost seven pilots, but had confirmed destroyed nine 109s
six 110s, six Ju87s, a Do17, a He-111 and an Hs-126.

To use in "Dunkirk: May 1940" backup and remove all Sp2a slot 3dz and tpc
files in the Dunkirk folder and install those from this package in its place.
