This file will convert the stock EAW B-26 into a B-25 of the 345th Bomb Group. The 345th was the famous (or infamous) "Air Apaches" -- well known for pioneering the use of the sturdy Mitchell bomber as an anti-shipping weapon in the Southwest Pacific. These aircraft were armed with ten (or more) heavy machine guns and cannon, firing straight ahead, in addition to the usual gun turrets.

To install: unzip the *.3dz and *.tpc files into the 'main' EAW folder (the folder with EAW.EXE in it). You could just unzip the whole thing in there, too. Wouldn't hurt anything. The *.pcx file is there in case you want to edit the file.

Credits:

The orginal aircraft model was converted by Woolfman from the one in 1942: The Pacific Air War. He also made most of this skin. I just added the Air Apaches stuff. This scheme does not represent any particular aircraft, it's just intended to be "representative" of the type. This particular model has the insignia "mirror" effect all over-- nothing I can do about that without editing the model. Feel free to attempt it!

Enjoy,

dancho

Notes for the Green Parrot Head Edition:

If this zip is named "greenie.zip" it contains the alternative skin for the B-25-- with the green parrot head instead of the brown one.
