B-24J Liberator "Cocktail Hour"
64th Bomber Squadron, 43rd Bomber Group, 5th Air Force, Le Shima, 1945.

Skin modified by Damir P. Fillen, starting from Mr. Johnson excellent basic skin for a Natural Metal B-24.
I have only modified the twin rudder painting, and the nose-arts, to include the "Cocktail Hour" nose art, and the "Dream Lady" nose art, this one in fact is my wife's Larissa portrait, and the Eagle of "American Pride". Some of the original nose arts were repositioned on the same graphic file.

Thank you, Mr. Johnson!

Here the original Mr. Johnson's read-me file:

64"User's Guide" for the Metal B-24J

So before anything: i want to say thank you to Migge for creating the basic B-24 metal skin.
And to those others whoms noseart files were used up.

Now i have "upgraded" this skin to make it best fit. on the B-24H/J's there are differences:

1st: The nosearts are different in th two skins because of the windows on the B-24D wich were removed from B-24H/J.

2nd: on the B-24H/J i have fixed the element skinning on the fuselage's top left back section, Plus in the nose.

3rd: The B-24D's main skin is almost compatible with B-24H/J except the nose where the windows located. and i have added a higher detailed waist-gunner to the skin at the right bottom.

4th: I have re-sized the "empty" noseart at the nosearts so if you want to use any other nosearts you will have to:
- delete the PB24AC.3DZ or
- Re-size the empty noseart on your PB24AN.PCX/TPC file wished to be used. (it's on the bottom at the middle)

5th: The Belly turret uses the PB24AP.3dz and the PB24AP.PCX/TPC.

6th: !!!!Warning!!!! the PB24AF.3DZ uses sub-elements so if You want to modify it in 3DZ!STUDIO i recommend to make a converted out version and save it, to paste back the normals from it...

7th: New Nosearts are added too!

i hope i wrote down everything about it.

Mr. Johnson.
