Ki-61-I-KAI-Hei of the 1st Chutai, 244th Sentai, at Chofu, Tokyo 1944-1945

Th Ki-61 was a radical aircraft by Japanese standards when it first came into service in 1942, equipped with a liquid cooled, inline engine and armor protection for the pilot and fuel. It was more than a match against the fighters of the allies, until such aircraft as the Mustang and Hellcat came into service.

To use this skin, just unzip it to your main EAW directory, it will show up in the Bf-109G slot, or use Stab.

I started with a great skin created by Woolfman and Flying Sheep of a Ki-61-I-Otsu, and used images from the book "Flying Colors" (Squadron/Signal Publications, ISBN 0-89747-121-0) as a reference. The cockpit is by Claudio Wilches. I repainted the wing views to match the skin, and I include his original readme (tonyoffice.txt) in this zip file.

I have also included an ini file for use with stab.
