B-26C-45-MO 42-107740/T6-U 'Junior' of the 573rd BS/391st BG, Matching, Essex, England, May 1944.

*Skin by Serb
*3dz model modification by Claudio Wilches and Serb

This Marauder came home from a sortie so severely battle damaged that official photographs were taken at its Matching, Essex, base upon its return. The damage had been caused on 20 May, 1944 when an 88 mm flak shell sliced off the top of the fin and rudder, and stripped most of the skin off the elevators - it was nevertheless restored to its former glory by a Mobile Repair and Reclamation Squadron and went on the fly a total of 96 missions. Throughout its long cambat career, '740 remained a 'plain' B-26, with only its upper nose and inner-facing engine nacelles being painted in olive drab. (Osprey)

**Important**
In order to make the 'C-45' variant, which had a longer wingspan and taller tail, three additional files are required to load. These have been modified by the talented Claudio Wilches, and are namely Pb26af.3dz, Pb26ag.3dz and Pb26am.3dz. I then modified them to code for the olive drab paint applied to the inner-facing engine nacelles. These files are included with this package. (Thanks Claudio!) I chose to omit the very small nose lettering "Junior", since detail at this pixel level would render it impossible to read.

**Instructions**
Unzip the files, then drag and drop all *.tpc and *.3dz files into your European Air War directory. To return to the default skin, move the same files out of the EAW directory.
