Me 262B-1a (Wk-Nr 110494)/'White 9' of Gefreiter Ferdinand Sagemeister, III./EJG 2, Lechfeld, December 1944.

* Model by Paulo Morais
* Skin by Serb and Mosi

Representative of the handful of Me 262 duel control two-seat trainer/fighters which reached III./EJG 2 (before production was switched midstream to the interim nightfighter), this rare jet is adorned with an EKdo 262-type mid-fuselage yellow band. Delivered direct to III./EJG 2, this aircraft/marking combination would seem to indicate that the latter unit, too, adopted this marking retroactively. A number of trainee jet pilots had the opportunity to fly 'White 9' during its short-lived career before it crashed, due to a technical fault, south of Augsburg on 12 January 1945, killing the unfortunate Gefreiter Ferdinand Sagemeister. (Osprey)

Approximately 15 of this type were built.

**Instructions**
Unzip the files, then drag and drop all *.tpc and *.3dz files into your European Air War directory. To return to the default skin, move the same *.tpc and *.3dz files out of the EAW dirctory.

**The Cockpit**
The new cockpit files (P262av.tpc and P262ax.tpc) were created by Mikko "Migge" Kosonen, and are optional, although highly recommended. Thank you very much, Migge!

If using ECA Control Panel (Version 3.4), Charles Gunst's flight model switching utility, please set the flight model to the B1-a.
