Me 262A-2a '9K+HH' of Unknown Pilot, I./KG 51, Achmer, early 1945.

**Important**
In order to make a conversion to the bomber variant Me 262A-2a, three additional files are required to load. These have been created by the talented Paulo Morais, and are namely P262af.3dz, P262ag.3dz and Loadout.dat. These files are included with this package. (Thanks Paulo and Mosi!) Since Stab 3.2 does not code for the proper placement of the two bombs, which are to be located under the nose rather than the wings, Loadout.dat is required.

**Normal Use (without STAB)**
Unzip the files, then drag and drop all *.tpc and *.3dz files, along with the one "Loadout.dat" file into your European Air War main directory.
To return to the default skin, move the above loaded files out of the EAW dirctory.

**EAW with STAB**
If using STAB, Matt Thompson-Moltzen's superb skin and terrain switching utility, the setup procedure is quite different. The file loading protocol of Stab is still quite new to me, but I will give the formula which appears to work best. Place P262af.3dz and P262ag.3dz in your main EAW directory, right click on them, and under properties, mark each as "read-only". This will prevent them from erasure when EAW reloads. As far as "Loadout.dat", my best success has been to go to "configure" in Stab, and under "advanced", enter L*.3dz in the terrain section. Then place loadout.dat in your separate terrain folders, so that it loads. I originally thougth that simply placing loadout.dat in the main directory, and marking it as read-only would work, but it does not, since the program attempts to reload it. This will result in an error!

**Flight Model**
If using STAB, Matt Thompson-Moltzen's skin and terrain switching utility, please don't forget to change the flight model to the Me 262A-2! Happy mud-moving, and watch your "6" when coming in for final approach!

**The Cockpit**
The new cockpit files (P262av.tpc and P262ax.tpc) were created by Mikko "Migge" Kosonen, and are optional, although highly recommended. Thank you very much, Migge!

**STAB**
If using STAB, Matt Thompson-Moltzen's skin and terrain switching utility, please don't forget to change the flight model to the A2-a.

I hope you like it - I hope you dig it - Feel free to send me an email with comments:
