New update: **March 22, 2011 -
Made a new EAW_TTD.dat file for the scenario, since the 'spawning' and 'marching' soldiers weren't showing on the Beachhead file is here:

note to only use it with 1.28e since it incompatible with older .exe's
using this file you will see the people 'spawn' at close range on strafing runs, etc.

Note for modders; this is the new type 656,640 bytes size file for the 128 tmod (objects) on a tile used by the 1.28e
I made the conversion thanks to Jels TTDV5 (128TTDUtilityV5.exe) program you can get from the coder's utility folder which is very handy!

good news update: **March 16, 2011 -
got the carrier to show by deleting the tmod.dat file from the scenario -
(also to try it be sure to get the Default16.msn file I reposted again)

for 1.28E - currently I haven't solved the 'invisible carrier' issue - so this is still a WIP, but you should be able to at least fly the rest of the scenario and have a look at it with the .msn files I provided on march 8

that fixes the Carrier train that was stuck repeating. 

also; an adjusted eaw.tm
that needs to go with it, since the tiles the Carrier (train) is on are actually land painted as water.

Another enhancement for BeachHell_Isles, an inflight map:
EUROPE1.exe
Its in a self-extracting archive, unpack it to the scenario files. 

Made another fix for the BeachHell_Isles scenario for EAW 1.28E only! since the soldiers on the allied BeachHead were not spawning.. use this resized EAW_TTD.DAT
just drop it in the EAW folder.

Made 2 files available to use for a 'kludge' fix for BeachHell_Isles scenario use in EAW 1.28E 
These will give you a single mission: 
Default10.msn 
Default10.msn is the file for the Spit 1A 
it will give you a sweep mission near the axis base 

Default16.msn 
Default16.msn is the file for a 109E interdiction for the carrier (train) 


instructions: 

1. Place the files in your 'savedata' folder

2. launch EAW and select 'single mission' 

3.(a or b) 
a. at the plane selection screen; for the Spit 1a sweep mission select only the Spit 1a (or you will CTD) 

b. at the plane selection screen; for the 109E interdiction mission select only the 109E (or you will CTD) 

4. in the hangar , mission setup screen - don't change the mission year! (or you will CTD), but do make sure you have 'instant action' checked this is because the ground start will not work until the scenario is fixed - (if you try ground start you'll be off the map and will explode on engine start) If you flying the 109E interdiction you probaly want a loadout ordinance unless you just wish to straff the carrier (but that is not a real good idea since you won't be able to sink it that way; at most you might disable the aaa but most likely you get shot down trying) 

These are the only missions and planes you can fly this way unless you maybe make your own ".msn" files from 1.28E (or other) without the BeachHell_Isles scenario files loaded, then save those in savedata and try it with BeachHell_Isles scenario files 

The reasons could be many why this happens but mostly unless Jel fixes the files for 1.28E this is all that will work for now , since I don't have enough knowledge to know the reason for now. 

If you have any CTD otherwise like on the planes screen then you may need to unload the launch EAW select the Spit 1a or 109E (or change the default plane in your eaw.ini ?) then exit, load the BeachHell_Isles scenario files and try it.
