Notes on the Use of Campaigns in EAW:

1) ECA ONLY changes flight models, string files, etc. BUT NOT TERRAIN (*.ter) or SKIN files (p*.tpc)

2) Campaign files when loaded will CHANGE some of ECA's loadout, string and other data files, BUT NOT plane flight models

3) If you are flying a Single Player campaign or going to use campaign files (like Guadalcanal..and we will use this this weekend) for multiplay, the CAMPAIGN files should be the LAST thing loaded AFTER ECA panel is set...if you load the campaign files first and then set up the ECA panel, ECA panel MAY change (probably WILL change) certain campaign files (*.dat and *.str) which could lead to incompatibility

4) After playing a campaign remember to remove the campaign files (either via batch files or through Mane_raptor's new GUI campaign switcher...now in beta testing) and it is always safer to then RESET the ECA panel or even better use Scorp's FM selector (if you have it) to clean out your EAW folder back to straight EAW 1.2 and then back to ECA panel to reactivate your ECA files

5) Finally, ALWAYS use the Ecapanel.exe file to run the ECA panel from Windows Explorer DIRECTLY from the EAW folder...don't use a shortcut...this ensures the ECA panel is set correctly and always EXIT out of the ECA Panel from the drop down FILE menu after setting it (don't click on the X in the upper right corner of the window)

6) The best and safest sequence is set up the ECA Panel, load terrain and skins with Stab or SnM, then finally, load the campaign files
