European Air War Theme Manaher Version 1.0
compiled in delphi 5.

EAWTheme.EXE - The executable
EAWTheme.TXT - This file
Click.WAV - Sound
SAMPLE.BMP - Sample Bitmap and Themes

What is this?
This is a theme manager very simple and secure, the processes of copyfiles (to themes subfolders to EAW folder) has an undo.ini and backup all files exist in EAW folder if they need to replace.
If you choose another theme, the last undo.ini will be processed after the new copyfiles process start.

You dont loose any file! NEVER! (I hope...)

The beauty of this manager is the simplicity, so you need some care to install it.

The process order:
1) process the undo.ini file to restore the backup files and delete all files copied in last theme.
2) copy the files inside the theme you choose and create a new undo.ini file.
(leave EAWTheme if you use the "leave" option)
3) load EAW (if you dont want, use the "noload" option)

Instalation:
Unzip these files in your EAW folder (use folder names option to create the sample themes).
Your themes names are the subfolder names, and you can change it whatever you want. just rename it.

Restrictions:
Dont put any files on "Themes" folder, only subfolders. the subfolders will be your theme.
only 12 themes will be show in EAWTheme screen.
the SAMPLE.BMP must have 355x225, if not it will be fit in this size with some bad results.
never delete the undo.ini file and/or backups files in EAW folder.

Specials:
This is some conventions to manipulate the theme:
1) SAMPLE.BMP inside your theme will be show in EAWTheme screen like a thumbnail or screenshot.
2) If you want, the "refresh" theme (must be empty) process only undo.ini and not load the game;
3) You can make a shortcut command "C:\...\European Air War\EAWTheme.exe" "noload leave" (with ")
noload option dont load EAW after the copyfile process.
leave option close EAWTheme after the copyfile process.
use "noload" or "leave" or "noload leave" without commas.

MY SUGGESTIONS:

Create a empty theme named "European Air War", and put only the sample.bmp (if you want). if you choose it in EAWTheme Screen you play the game without any modifications, only the common files (EAW folder) will be load.

Create a "TEST" theme to use in your test, put the terrains, planes, skins, *.PIC (EAW screens), flying models and anything more until you have shure if its good.

leave in EAW folder only commons files. I leave in my EAW folder only sound files and ECA14 *.CPT and *.MPC files.

My Theme sample:

Name: North African Battle
I put in this folder all of the files above:
ECA14 files (whitout *.CPT and *.MPC)
ECAPANEL33 (and setup it to Global changes "North Africa")
a complete set of desert terrain
a complete set of aircraft desert skins
a complete set of customized EAW screens (main2.pic, config.pic, picplna.pic, picplnb.pic, picplng.pic)
some specials flying models
made some changes in arms (I use EAW Aircraft edit)
clouds file
SAMPLE.BMP (a screenshot)

I had a pacific, mediterranean, autunm, winter themes with the same process but customized one by one
in pacific theme I put the japanese radio speech too.

MY COMMON FILES:
ECA14 *.CPT and *.MPC files (they are too large to copy each time, and they never change!)
My selections of sounds files

Recomendation:
Dont put desnecessary files in your theme folder, they will be copy and consume resources.

ENJOY!
