Sound Conversion Jane's WWII Fighters --> European Air War v1.2
===============================================================

It finally worked - due to Steven Dickson's ELBZIP utility it is now possible to
extract the sound files from the respective ELB archives of Jane's WWII Fighters.

These are the files I converted for use in Microprose's European Air War.
It was possible by additional use of the RAW2SND utility by Paulo Morais and some
hex-editing to remove the header from the WWIIF files to avoid the hereby caused
repetitive crack sounds.

The files included here are as follows (in case you want to try them one-by-one
to substitute your existing in-game sounds step-by-step):

SND0003.SND - FlaK burst
SND0004.SND - Bomb explosion
SND0029.SND - Rocket launch
SND0031.SND - Radial engine
SND0035.SND - Inline engine
SND0039.SND - Jet turbine
SND0042.SND - Two-mot bombers
SND0044.SND - Buzz bomb (V-1)

INSTALLATION:

Simply drop the selected SND file(s) into your EAW main directory
(it's the folder containing the EAW.EXE file).

UN-INSTALLATION:

Deleting the files from your EAW directory will allow you to return to the default EAW sounds.
Alternatively you can simply overwrite them with a new sound of the same filename.

Have fun with the new sounds!
