Oscar_brown camo

This is a simple repaint of a japanese oscar on top of the original work listed below.  i included all of the gunsight and wingview mods listed below also.  the camo scheme is not base upon any historical plane - just my interpretation of various pics i have seen.  i painted these to use in the excellent pacific tide add-on for eaw which i love.  the pt campain is a masterpiece !  :}

  This Nakajima Ki-43 I Hei was from Hiko Dai 1 Sentai 1 Chutai, New Guinea 1942. The new 3dz is an updated version from the 3dz modified by RockHPI from Paulo Morais' original Zero 3dz. It has new wing planform, two blade prop, cockpit and reduced elevators to improve the shape even more. I took the Captain Kurt's skin as a base for my paint job. Thanks a lot guys! The new cockpit features a two blade prop cockpit view, new canopy braces modelled to the real arrengement, the absence of the gunsight (this Oscar version had the telescopic gunsight) in the form of a new "P109ez.3dz" and a new instruments set wich is heavilly based on Migge's products. I reccomend you to use the new wing view and the PapaRomeu gunsight , both furnished here. If you don't like to fight without a regular gunsight, try the one inside the "Gunsight optional" zip file, but don't forget to change the "Gunsight.spt" to a more correct "reflect reticle" version. Thanks again to all the people mentioned here - you did a lot for us! cwrio@novanet.com.br - Claudio Wilches
