This is a historical model of a P47-D, "Butch II", of the 352nd fighter squadron / 353rd fighter group
which was based at Gaydon UK in July of 1944.

This is a lo-res model based on the EAW base 3dz file. I did some minor re-mapping and detail correction
as the original base file is not entirely accurate. In order to avoid any transparency issues with the wing guns, i painted the transparency color directly to the pcx file around the guns and have also included the
original transparency file. It tested perfectly with my system using a voodoo3/3000 video card. I also tested this model using OAW "S" and "A" folders following the respective directions for each... it worked flawlessly.

This model is also in non mirrored fashion, but i only moved the elements which were necessary to achieve the non-mirrored effect. I was unable to find any pictures to guide me in doing the pattern on the wing tops... so i guessed!

This model also includes corrected wingviews and damaged wing models which i created. To use, simply
drop all of the 3dz and tpc files in to your EAW folder, or use with OAW as directed by it's instructions...
and you are off!!!

I hope you like it... happy hunting!
