P-51D - 362nd FS, 357th FG, USAAF.

Representing the aircraft flown by Capt. John B. England, who scored 17.5 victories, based at Leiston, England, during May of 1944. The 357th FG was unusual in that many of it's pilots kept the olive drab finish rather than stripping it down to bare metal. It also produced no less than 42 'aces' in the European Theatre, many of whom flew the P-51D in their tour of duty.
