P-47C - 336th FS, 4th FG, USAAF.

The 4th FG was the one of the first USAAF units to be serve in the European Theatre. Formed in September 1942, it first operated the Spitfire Mk.V until the arrival of P-47C Thunderbolts, more commonly known as the "Jug" by it's pilots. Many of the members of the 4th FG had previously flown for the RAF in the three Eagle Squadrons, No's 71, 131 and 133, which became the 334th, 335th and 336th FS respectively.

The transparency file has been modified and is included in the zip. Use of Migge's cockpit screens is recommended.
