Bf.109K-4 of I/JG1 - May 1945

The Bf.109K was the final development of the long running Bf.109 series. Developed as a high altitude interceptor, this aircraft carried a formidable 30mm cannon in the nose, as well as twin 13mm MG's in the cowling. This skin wears the markings of an aircraft of I/JG11, found at Munchen-Reim airfield in May 1945, and is representative of the wide array of paint schemes found on late war aircraft of the Luftwaffe. Of note is the light green cowling, obviously a replacement from another machine.

This skin uses Captain Manduca's Bf109K (Tall Tail) 3DZ files, which are contained in the zip. Cockpit files that utilise Migge's gauges are included with this aircraft.
