Bf.109F-4 of JG54 - Winter 1942

Painted in the colours of an aircraft bearing the chevron of the Geschwader Staff Officer. This "Grunherz" aircraft wore slightly mottled or whitewashed winter camouflage. As it was the personal aircraft of Hans Philipp an ace who rose rapidly to prominence, the aircraft carries the marking of a Knight's Cross winner above the kill markings. Philipp was later killed in action in the latter stages of the war.

This skin uses Captain Manduca's Bf109G(F) 3DZ files, which are contained in the zip. Cockpit files that utilise Migge's gadges are included with this aircraft.
