Bf.109G-4 of I/JG1, April 1943.

Unlike on the Eastern Front, Luftwaffe aircraft based on the Channel Front were generally drab in their paintwork, as general operatinal doctrine was quite different. This particular aircraft belonging to I/JG1 took part in a hit and run raid against England in April 1943, but was shot down by two Typhoons from No.486 (NZ) Squadron, the Typhoon being one of the few RAF aircraft fast enough to catch these low level raiders

This skin uses Captain Manduca's Bf109G 3DZ files, which are contained in the zip. A cockpit, using Migge's gadges, is included.
