As you may know, sound files create very large download files. Some complete files, even when zipped, can be in excess of 10 MEG in size. If left like this, many would be unable to download the file, due to restrictions on their particular servers. In order to ensure that everyone can download these files, I have loaded the zips with the MP3 type files. These reduce the size of the files greatly and can be re-formatted to the correct file type easily, using several
free utilities. The one I use is CDEX (1.322KB size), which can be downloaded free from:

http://www.cdex.n3.net/

To download and use WINAMP instead, read the 'winampreadme' file.

DOWNLOAD INSTRUCTIONS
This is how you should download and re-format these files for use in EAW (its fairly simple):

1. If this is the first time you have used CDEX, then open it and click on the 'SETUP' button (bottom right of screen). On the next screen select 'Filenames' tab and set the two locations of 'WAV - MP3' and 'Recorded Tracks' to the folder(s) of your choice on your PC.
2. Download all of the chosen zip files to an empty folder on your PC. Include the 'Join-####' zip, if there is one (larger files only).
3. Unzip ALL of the files into one folder.
4. Look to see if there is a 'Join-###.bat' file for re-joining the zip (large files only).
5. If there is a Join-###.bat' file, double click this file and you will see a black DOS screen, which shows the zip being re-built.
6. This takes a few seconds. Once the operation has finished, exit the DOS screen and you will see the re-built zip in the folder.
7. You can now delete all of the files you downloaded and use the single zip you have created, which will be an MP3 type file.
8. Now open the CDEX utility and select the bottom right hand button, marked 'MP3-WAV'. This will open a second screen. Go to the top 'directory' button and browse to the folder that has the MP3 file you created.
9. Now select the file and click the 'CONVERT' button. The file will now be saved in your default folder (1), but as a WAV file.
