TO USE the MP3 files must be converted to BGM files

Instructions for adapting MP3 files to "bgm" format for use in EAW.

To make the downloads considerably smaller the files are posted as MP3 files.

-------------------------------------------------

A. First you must make sure that the folders options in Windows is set correctly:

1) In the Explorer view, select the View pulldown menu from the folders menu bar.

2) Select Folder Options from the View pulldown menu.

3) Click on the View tab in the Options dialog.

4) Uncheck the Hide file extensions for known file types box.

5) Click on the OK button

--------------------------------------------------
B. The MP3 file must be converted to a WAVE file. Many freeware programs
can do conversions like this. Personally I prefer CDex. To use Cdex, read the Cdex readme file.
-------------------------------------------------

C. Once you have converted the MP3 to WAVE do the following.

1) Make sure the converted wave file is in a directory, not on the
      desktop.

2) Rename the file to the same name of whatever file you wish to replace in the EAW Music folder
     (i.e.; menumus.bgm).

3) Drop the new music file into the EAW Music folder and you're all set.
