Here's a texture skin for the Douglas TBD Devastator. (BETA VERSION)

The US Navy roundels have been modified using Airbuddha's / Claude Lumpkin's from the F4F Wildcat as a template.

It is based on pictures contained in the following flightsim manuals: "1942: The Pacific Air War" by Microprose and "Pacific Strike" by Origin.

The wireframe of this airplane is actually from Microprose's "1942: Pacific Air War".

For use with Charles Gunst's ECA (Enemy Coast Ahead) Panel. It uses the P-51b slot.
To install, just unzip the *.TPC and *.3DZ files into your EAW directory.

Unfortunately, the white band on the elevator's top side cannot be deleted as it shares some pixels with the texture for the fuselage bottom.

To uninstall, delete the following files from your EAW main directory to change back to the original skin:

Pp51btex.tpc
Pp51btes.tpc
Pp51af.3dz
Pp51am.3dz
Pp51as.3dz

Feel free to use and edit the included PCX files to apply e.g. weathered textures or different squadron markings.

Have fun and good hunting!
