By Jamie Richards (aka "Fritigern")

A distinctive "catmouth" Grumman F6F-3 Hellcat of VF-27 aboard the aircraft carrier USS Princeton. After the sinking of the Princeton on 24 October 1944, the Hellcats of VF-27 were assigned to other carriers and the pilots were ordered to paint over the "catmouth" nose art.

Based on a painting by Rikyu Watanabe.

This F6F-3 Hellcat replaces P47C in EAW. The 3-D wireframe of this airplane is actually from Microprose's "1942: Pacific Air War".

For use with Charles Gunst's ECA (Enemy Coast Ahead) Panel.
To install, just unzip the *.TPC and *.3DZ files into your EAW directory.
