Dewoitine D520 GC 2/3 - France May-June 1940
This skin has to be used with the Charles Gunst's ECA panel v3.0 set on Dewoitine D-520 (it replaces the Spitfire 2a flight model) and played together with the previously released Morane Saulnier MS-406, the Ju-87b, He111, Ju88A4 and Bf-109E3 in 1940.

"Mais qu'est-ce qu'ils foutent, o sont-ils ? (What are they doing, where are they ?)". These words were adressed to the army by french civil people under bombing of Stukas in may-june of 1940. In fact, french pilots were there ... bravely fighting in clouds.
From may 10th to june 20th, 919 german planes were destroyed (SHAA homologation) with a heavy tribute to french pilots since 20% of officers and 15% of subofficers disappeared as well as about 800 fighters and bombers.
750 german pilots were captured among them the famous german ace Werner Molders. They were then released at the armistice.
Only a few tens of british planes took part to the battle.
Their fighting was decisive and significantly influenced the following german BOB campain.
At that time, three fighters were mainly used : the Morane-Saulnier MS-406, the Bloch 151 and the Curtiss Hawk P36, all three with specifications much lower than the Me109.
A better fighter, the Dewoitine D520, also called "the french Spitfire", also participated to the battle but too late and in few amounts ...

Just unzip the *.tpc files into your EAW directory, and enjoy.
